Day Off Checklist: Update Blog!!!

My blog was so in need of an update, I figured I'd do that today since I have the day off. :)

Christmas was GREAT!! The whole holiday season was filled with tons and tons of family. :)

I went down to CA with my family and Kyle. Going to CA to see my family is probably one of my favorite things. I wish we could all live closer to each other so we could see each other more often. I was lucky enough to be able to talk to my aunt Melissa and my grandma Goettsche one-on-one for a little bit. I'll definitely be doing another post about my visit with my Grandma. She is such a sweet lady. I love her so much!! I also got to spend time with my mom's family. We enjoyed a day together visiting, eating great food, and watching football.

Kyle and I got to go to Disneyland while we were down there!! My aunt Nicole owed me a trip so she and my cousin, Zachary, and me and Kyle went while we were down there. It was so much fun, even though it rained on us the entire day!! I've said to other people that that trip to Disneyland was the most wonderful miserable experience of my life, haha. We were soaked and freezing by the end of the day, but we walked on almost every ride. :) Here's a picture from the Hollywood Tower Hotel.

Don't you just love our ponchos?!! (And our faces) :)

Anyway, we had a good time. :)

I spent Christmas Day in Hurricane and can I just say, the holidays went by way too fast this year!! I got to spend Christmas day with my mom and then with my dad... gotta love that my parents divorced and stayed living close to each other. I will always be grateful for that. :)

New Year's Eve was fun, too. Kyle and I went Down to Las Vegas to spend the holiday with my best friend, Makenzie, and her fiance, Bryan. We spent the evening at Bryan's house eating tons of good food (hats off to Bryan's mom and her AMAZING cheesy chicken dip), playing cards with Bryan's siblings and watching movies. We had a perfect view of the midnight firework show from Bryan's backyard, too. We spent New Year's Day hanging out and shopping. Makenzie and I had fun looking around in Victoria's Secret while the boys hung out at the LoveSac store. We really just spent the whole day being lazy and then finally made our way down to Primm to ride the rollercoaster at Buffalo Bills. (#5 on my list, check!!) Overall, lots of fun. :)

The last month hasn't been too exciting, but I feel like a lot has changed. Kyle and I aren't dating exclusively anymore... I'm kinda scared when it comes to dating and commitment. Lame, I know. I'm trying to get over it, haha. I finally finished The Miracle of Forgiveness by Spencer W. Kimball (I've been working on that for a few months now), I enrolled in a couple Institute classes (Book of Mormon and Scripture Study), and I just got a new calling in my ward. It's been kind of a roller coaster of emotions the last couple weeks, but I'm really happy about my life right now.

The next couple weeks will be crammed with me trying to finish off my 22 list and brainstorming for my 23 list.
