I've been wanting to blog lately, but I haven't really known how to go about it. So today I'm using one of my journal prompts from my last blog post.
CURRENTLY
listening... to my fan blowing. Besides the click-click-click from my iPad keyboard, that's all I can hear right now. It's pretty quiet in my house in the mornings. I love to be awake in the morning, but I hate waking up. Most days I don't have to be to work until 10-12 so I contribute to a quiet house by sleeping in. :) Today I woke up earlier than I planned and decided not to go back to bed. It's been great.
loving... Jarvis. That man... I don't even know where to start. We started dating in June right after I moved up here and I am so in love. I never thought a man like him existed, and I NEVER thought I would be with him. He gets me and loves me and I am so overwhelmed with gratitude when I think about how blessed I am to have him in my life. I've never known what it's like to love EVERYTHING about the man I'm with. To not have doubts or concerns... but I found him. I love everything about him. I have zero doubts, zero concerns. How did I get so lucky??
thinking... about God and how good He is to me. My life still has it's moments. It's definitely not perfect, but moving to Sandy was the perfect move. This new job has been the perfect change. And things are falling into place for more change at work and I'm welcoming it. Life is good. God is good. :)
wanting... a spicy chicken biscuit from Chick-fil-a and a large Dr. Pepper. Breakfast of champions... not!! But it's sooooooo good!!!
needing... to get out of bed and get going for the day. It's almost 10 (which means I better hurry if I want that chicken biscuit) and I still need to work out, shower and get ready for work.
one little word... POSITIVE. I have a feeling today is going to be a little difficult and I'm choosing right now to be positive. Regardless of what happens today, I'm going to have a good day.
I hope all of you have a good day, too.
Me and Jarv went down to St. George a while back so he could meet my family and we went and saw Thoroughly Modern Millie at Tuacahn. It was a great show!! The Asian brothers were my favorite part. I love how they did the subtitles!!! Tuacahn is incredible and I love going there every summer. A friend of mine from SC was Aladdin last summer and said that next year Tuacahn is bringing back The Little Mermaid and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (possibly with a modern twist.) I'M EXCITED!!!
